A movement across Greater New York is afoot! Thousands of intercessors are taking to the streets in prayer to proclaim liberty to all the residents and businesses in their community. Starting on the 1st Saturday in June, one month after the National Day of Prayer, Greater New York’s communities will be blanketed with prayer as intercessors disburse across the region in an act of spiritual unity. “Pray New York!” will be a day to mobilize united prayer for revival all across the five boroughs, Long Island, Westchester & Rockland Counties, Northern New Jersey, and Lower Connecticut!

WHY PRAY NEW YORK?
Our prayer focus is to seek freedom in Christ for the leaders, residents, businesses and institutions that make up our communities. There is cumulative power in united prayer. In Matthew Chapter 18, Jesus tells us that God’s people have been given the power of binding and loosing. He also says we have special power by agreement in prayer. United prayer is the most powerful expression of Christian unity.
WHY PRAYER WALK YOUR COMMUNITY? BECAUSE PRAYER WALKING…
- increases awareness of the needs in our community as we let Jesus look through our eyes.
- increases connection with our community as we enter the culture present in our streets.
- increases our passion and fervor for our community as God grows our hearts for our neighbors.
